Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data AssetQuarry (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit assetquarry.com, how we use it and what rights you have. AssetQuarry is a Romelius project, operated from the Republic of Moldova.

1. Who we are

AssetQuarry is a curated catalog of digital products (WordPress themes, plugins, template kits, graphics, video, audio and 3D assets) available on the Envato marketplace. We do not sell products ourselves: purchases, payments, downloads and support happen on Envato. For any privacy question, write to us through the Contact page.

2. Data we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address and message when you write to us. We use them only to answer you.
  • Newsletter: your email address if you subscribe. It is stored with our email provider (Mailchimp) and used only to send you updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
  • Account, wishlist and compare: if you create an account, we store your username and email address. Wishlist and compare lists are stored on our site or in your browser.
  • Comments: if you comment on the blog, we store your name, email, comment and IP address to prevent spam.
  • Technical data: like any website, our servers and our CDN provider process your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, for security and to deliver the site.

3. Affiliate links

Many links on AssetQuarry are affiliate links to Envato. When you click one, Envato and its affiliate partners may set cookies in your browser to record that you came from our site, so that we can receive a commission if you buy. We do not receive your name, payment details or other personal data from these purchases. Their processing is governed by Envato’s Privacy Policy. See also our Affiliate Disclosure.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to work (for example session, login, wishlist and security cookies) and analytics cookies from Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Third parties such as Envato’s affiliate network may set their own cookies when you click their links. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may then stop working.

5. Services we use

  • Cloudflare – content delivery, security and protection against attacks. Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses.
  • Mailchimp – newsletter delivery (only if you subscribe).
  • Envato – the marketplace where products are sold, and its affiliate program.
  • Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) – anonymous statistics about how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on site, approximate location, device and browser). It uses cookies. We use these statistics only to improve the site. See Google’s Privacy Policy; you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • Google Fonts – fonts are served from our own server, so your browser does not contact Google for them.

6. Why we process your data

We process data to answer your messages and provide the features you request (performance of a request or contract), to send the newsletter you subscribed to (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time), and to keep the site secure and running (our legitimate interest).

7. How long we keep data

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to 12 months afterwards. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Account data is kept until you delete your account or ask us to delete it. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

8. Sharing and transfers

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers listed above, which may process it outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR and the law of the Republic of Moldova on personal data protection), you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive a copy of it and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us through the Contact page. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

10. Children

AssetQuarry is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
