Frequently asked questions

Does it work on its own?

No. It is an extension and requires the Responsive FlipBook WordPress plugin from the same author to be installed. The base plugin is sold separately.

Which WordPress versions does it support?

The item data lists WordPress 4.9.x to 5.2.x, and the changelog mentions WordPress 5.3 support. Check the item page and live demo for the latest details.

Are my PDF files sent to an external server?

Since version 3.0.1 the conversion is done in the user's browser and on your own server using PDF.js. The author states that uploaded PDFs are not stored by them.

Is there a file size limit for PDFs?

The earlier 100MB limit was removed in version 3.0.1 because conversion no longer uses an external server. Your own server limits may still apply.

Does it work with page builders?

It is listed as compatible with WPBakery Page Builder 5.1.x to 5.7.x. It is not marked as Gutenberg optimized.
